Dave and Pam Melton are the founders of His Dwelling Place Ranch, a nonprofit organization. They have been married since 1976. To this date, they have 11 children and 9 grandchildren.
In 2009, God revealed a vision to both Dave and Pam about educating families on how to live a more purposeful life, individually and as a family unit. With a western flair, representing the simpler, slower paced lifestyle, His Dwelling Place Ranch was born in their hearts.
Together, along with some of their children, they begin this new chapter in their lives. Temecula Valley, California is where God has brought them to begin this journey.
The goal of His Dwelling Place Ranch is to create spiritually strong individuals, which begins in the home. Children raised in families that have close relationships with each other, have a stronger sense of acceptance and confidence in their choices as they reach adulthood. This is why Dave and Pam are developing a western themed camp especially for families. There will be opportunities, through separate retreats, to minister to the men as head of their homes, women as their husband’s helpmeet, and married couples so that their relationships are nurtured and strong and, of course, family camps that will teach biblical values and encourage families to work together as a team during camp activities.
